Thank you to Speak Up For America/Indivisible for inviting me to commemorate this solemn occasion. September 11, 2001, being part of our collective history, we all gather together to remember those who lost their lives that day. We honor those who from that day forward fought for this great country in our pursuit of a more perfect union. As does our current administration, who fights to thwart terrorism, violent extremism, hate, and fear that would tear this country apart, I pledge to protect our Nation today and always just as I did while commanding paratroopers in response to 9/11.
